Job summary

Banner Payson Medical Center is seeking a skilled Polysomnographic Technologist to perform diagnostic sleep monitoring, analyze complex sleep data, and support sleep disorders care. The role requires independent testing, patient interaction, and collaboration with the clinical team.

The position offers a night shift schedule (6PM-6:30AM) at Banner Payson Med Ctr with opportunities to mentor staff and contribute to quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be registry by the Board of Polysomnographic Technologists or NBRC RRT and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic sleep monitoring studies independently, including home sleep tests.
• Analyze sleep records and determine sleep stages and physiologic parameters.
• Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for staff; support department policies and quality initiatives.
• Assist leadership with scheduling, onboarding and training of new staff.
