Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Registry by the Board of Polysomnographic Technologists or NBRC as an RRT.
• BLS certification required.
• Approximately 3 years of experience in sleep disorders testing.
• Proficiency with sleep testing equipment and EEG theory.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and monitor sleep studies and home sleep tests as prescribed.
• Analyze sleep data and document sleep stages and physiologic changes.
• Troubleshoot equipment and ensure artifact-free tracings.
• Review patient history and medications to tailor studies.
• Assist with department policies and staff training.
• Ensure quality standards and regulatory compliance.
