Job summary

ProMedica is seeking a Polysomn Care Assistant for the Night shift at the Bay Park Hospital Sleep Center. You will assemble, operate and troubleshoot therapeutic and diagnostic equipment for patients of all ages, including sleep systems with EKG, POX, and EEG.

You will provide education on disease-specific processes and home care equipment, and perform duties under the Sleep Center leadership while following hospital policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• If not Registered Polysomnographic Technologist, evidence of enrollment to obtain sleep credential is needed.
• Must obtain sleep credential within one year of hire.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, operate and troubleshoot therapeutic and diagnostic equipment for sleep patients.
• Provide education on disease-specific processes and home care equipment.
• Work under Sleep Center leadership and follow hospital policies and procedures.
