Job summary

Iowa Premium, a National Beef Company in Tama, Iowa, is seeking a qualified professional to join our on-site team as Slaughter Production Supervisor. You will oversee daily production, enforce safety and quality standards, and lead a diverse crew to meet production goals.

The role requires 3+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing or food processing, strong leadership, data-driven decision making, and solid communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing supervisory experience.
• Experience in packaging/food products industry preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all production activities ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and cost controls.
• Provide leadership and guidance to teams to improve effectiveness.
• Promote safety and environmental programs in compliance with regulations.
• Enforce GMP, HACCP, and quality standards to ensure product quality.
• Manage staffing to meet labor standards and production schedules.
• Coordinate training and disciplinary actions as required.
• Investigate delays and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain clear status updates with management.
