As a Harvest Operations Supervisor, you will lead a production team and product line in a fast‑paced butcher manufacturing environment. Your leadership will directly influence safety, food quality, team engagement, and operational results.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and develop your team
• Train and coach team members on SOPs, safety procedures, and production standards
• Lead daily team meetings and drive engagement on the production floor
• Coach employees on performance, productivity, and quality expectations
• Build bench strength through cross‑training and skill development
• Monitor slaughter and harvest operations to ensure product quality and operational efficiency
• Manage job rotations and line assignments to maximize productivity
• Partner with Maintenance, Quality, and Materials teams to meet production schedules
• Conduct product audits and investigate quality or food safety deviations
• Meet production volume goals while maximizing yield and controlling cost
• Reduce claims and improve operational efficiency across the harvest line
• Monitor slaughter operations and ensure product quality standards are met
• Provide coaching and hands‑on training to develop team members
• Conduct pre‑operational inspections and ensure production equipment is ready
• Submit maintenance work orders when needed to maintain equipment performance
• Minimize waste and control product sent to inedible
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe production environment
• Ensure compliance with USDA regulations, HACCP, SSOP, SOP, GMP, and SQF programs
