Job summary

ODC Construction LLC in Orlando is seeking a diligent Slab Laborer to support slab foundation work on construction sites. You will assist with site grading, formwork, reinforcement, and concrete pouring, while transporting materials and maintaining safety.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work outdoors, and collaborate with the slab crew under supervision. A strong work ethic and attention to detail are essential for success.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and installation of slab foundations, including site grading, formwork, reinforcement, and pouring concrete
• Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from the worksite
• Set up and clean up work areas, ensuring tools and materials are properly stored and organized
• Support the slab crew with daily tasks and operations, ensuring the job site runs smoothly
• Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety protocols and reporting hazards to supervisors
• Mix, pour, and spread concrete as directed
• Assist with setup and operation of slab-related equipment
• Follow directions from the Slab Crew Leader and other supervisory personnel
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety guidelines
• Perform basic labor tasks, including digging, lifting, and carrying materials as needed
