Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and installation of slab foundations, including site grading, formwork, reinforcement, and pouring concrete
• Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from the worksite
• Set up and clean up work areas, ensuring tools and materials are properly stored and organized
• Support the slab crew with daily tasks and operations, ensuring the job site runs smoothly
• Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety protocols and reporting hazards to supervisors
• Mix, pour, and spread concrete as directed
• Assist with setup and operation of slab-related equipment
• Follow directions from the Slab Crew Leader and other supervisory personnel

Title: Slab Laborer

Location: Field, Orlando, FL

Summary: ODC Construction is seeking a Slab Laborer to assist in the preparation and execution of slab foundation work on various construction sites. This role is integral to supporting the slab crew, ensuring that tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in slab construction and be eager to contribute to the team's success.

Reports to: Crew Leader, Director of Construction

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assist in the preparation and installation of slab foundations, including site grading, formwork, reinforcement, and pouring concrete.

Physical and Work Environment Requirements:

• Tasks may include standing, walking, bending, and carrying up to 50 lbs., with or without a reasonable accommodation
