Position Summary

Responsible for operating forklifts to move materials and equipment safely and efficiently.

Primary Responsibilities

• Safely handle materials
• Load and unload materials and equipment
• Adjust machine settings to complete tasks according to specifications, accurately and in a timely manner
• Interpret hand signals to determine where materials are to be placed

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Driver’s License
• Knowledge of the lifting capacity of each forklift operated

Physical Requirements

Candidates must be able to perform physical functions such as climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, and other repetitive motions with or without reasonable accommodation.
