Job summary

A leading aerospace company is seeking a System Design & Integration Specialist 3 for a contract role. This position focuses on planning and executing the decommissioning of Skype for Business infrastructure, ensuring smooth transitions to collaborative platforms while minimizing disruption. Candidates should have extensive experience in Skype for Business and project management skills, with a pay rate of $65 to $70 per hour. Responsibilities

• Conduct full Skype for Business environment assessment.
• Develop a detailed decommissioning plan aligned with business, security, and compliance.
• Coordinate with IT, security, compliance, networking, and business stakeholders.

Skills

Deep expertise in Skype for Business (Online and/or Server)

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Teams migration and coexistence modes

Experience with Enterprise Voice, PSTN connectivity, SBCs, and call routing

Familiarity with Active Directory, Azure AD, and Microsoft 365

Understanding of DNS, certificates, firewalls, and network dependencies

Experience with PowerShell scripting for Microsoft UC platforms

Knowledge of compliance, eDiscovery, retention, and audit requirements
