Kitchen work including washing dishes, restaurant setup, and food preparation. Work in close liaison with chefs. Duties include food handling, storage, rotation, processing and presentation. Must be willing to learn fundamental knowledge of line cooking and health code. Must be willing to work as a team. Must be 14 years of age.

Combined standing/walking position for up to 8 hours per shift. Will stand in place for up to 60 minutes. Will get breaks as available. Will lift up to 25lbs frequently, up to 50lbs occasionally. Will bend, squat, kneel, climb, twist, and reach above shoulder level on a frequent basis; will use hands for grasping and fine manipulation. Worksite is 90% inside & 10% outside, exposed to fumes, odors, mechanical and burn hazards. All sensory skills needed.
Must become knowledgeable of Schweitzer Mountain Resort facilities, services and activities. Responsibilities are listed as guidelines and the position is not necessarily limited to these items. In this environment, we work purely as a team, all kitchen employees, cooks, dishwashers, and custodians will all share responsibilities to ensure the quality of our service and food.
