Candidates should have at least one year of aerial lift trimming experience; the job may require travel for storm restoration work. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• At least one year of aerial lift trimming experience.
• Knowledge of knots, ropes and rigging devices.
• First-aid certification and CPR when applicable.
• Willingness to travel for storm restoration work.

Responsibilities

• Always follow and help enforce safe practices and rules.
• Assist in preparing truck and materials for each day.
• Perform professional tree maintenance as directed.
• Clear and trim trees/brush away from utility lines; remove debris.
• Clean up and dispose of all debris.
• Maintain and track tools and equipment used daily.
• Observe and improve climbing/tree maintenance skills.
• Assist crew members in all daily activities.
• Safeguard employees and public from hazards; enforce safe practices.
• Perform duties for storm work as needed.
