Job summary

Galderma in Carlsbad, CA is recruiting a Product Research & Innovation Lead (Alastin). This role shapes the science-to-market path for new technologies and products across skincare platforms.

You will partner with Regulatory, Clinical and Marketing to substantiate claims and guide product development from concept to market. The R&D lead will drive upstream innovation, project ideation, execution, and scientific communication to ensure differentiating, consumer-relevant products.

Qualifications

• Must have strong knowledge of skin biology and ingredient technologies.
• Experience translating science into consumer-facing product concepts.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication of scientific concepts to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Build knowledge base and opportunity landscape to inspire innovation.
• Lead ideation with cross-functional teams to develop innovative product concepts.
• Assess feasibility and drive development to market readiness.
• Develop claims strategies and support regulatory submissions with marketing teams.
• Represent R&D in governance reviews and lead cross-functional collaboration.
