Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biology or related field, advanced degree preferred.
• 5-8 years of experience in product innovation, R&D, or scientific affairs in skincare/cosmetics/OTC.
• Strong knowledge of skin biology, ingredient technologies, cosmetic product development, and clinical evaluation methods.
• Experience translating emerging technologies and consumer insights into commercial innovations.
• Solid understanding of global claims substantiation and regulatory frameworks across major markets (US, EU, APAC).
• Proven track record of developing and launching innovative skincare products in a global organization.
• Experience evaluating ingredient efficacy, mechanisms of action, and clinical data to support product development.

Responsibilities

• Upstream and downstream innovation leadership across projects, translating science to consumer-friendly products.
• Identify and advance opportunities using consumer insights, technology trends, and competitive intelligence.
• Lead scientific claims substantiation and cross-functional governance with Regulatory, Marketing, Medical, and Ops teams.
• Drive product evaluation, sensory testing, and consumer validation to support lead formula selection.
• Support development of product claims, usage instructions, and artwork with scientific backing.
• Collaborate with Regulatory, Clinical, and Marketing teams to ensure global regulatory compliance.
