AHRC NYC is seeking two Skills Instructors, one for their Manhattan Employment Business Services (EBS) Project Search program and one for their Brooklyn EBS Project Search program. The Skill Instructor will provide training and support for students, business co‑workers, families, and district personnel to ensure success during the worksite rotations and/or a competitive job.
Compensation Package: $42,000 per year plus a comprehensive Benefit Package which includes Free Medical Insurance. See additional Benefit information below.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
KEY RESULT AREA: To facilitate the training and integration of a student with disabilities in a worksite rotation and/or competitive work environment.
PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
KEY RESULT AREA: Responsible for performing those duties and activities that are conducive for an effective and efficient daily operation.
PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS
KEY RESULT AREA: Responsible for personal characteristics necessary to develop attributes consistent with the educational community.
A Bachelor's degree, an associate’s degree plus 3 years’ experience or a high school diploma plus 6 years’ experience. Experience with youth and adults with disabilities preferred.
