Qualifications

• One year of painting experience or more.
• Experience with wet paint booth processes is preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot paint-related equipment and processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced wet painting as per job instructions.
• Prepare product prior to paint application and ready paint equipment.
• Paint product based on job instructions and color specs.
• Adjust paint machine settings to maintain quality and production.
• Conduct cross hatch paint adhesion tests.
• Inspect paint booth parts for wear or malfunctions and replace as needed.
• Set up paint, adjust guns, and paint samples as required.
• Maintain and perform basic maintenance on paint equipment.
• Assist in cleaning of paint booths and related areas.
• Handle paint and related materials, including hazardous wastes safely.

Position Title: Wet Painter Wage: $21.00 - $27.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6:00am - 4:30pm (Monday - Thursday) Reached a dead end at your current job? Check out how this position can create a new path! Wet Painter Responsibilities:

• Perform advanced wet painting
• Prepare product prior to paint application
• Prepare paint equipment as required
• Paint product based on job instructions
• Make adjustments to paint machine as needed to maintain good quality and production
• Perform cross hatch paint adhesion test
• Check parts of paint booth for wear, malfunction, and replace as needed
• Set up paint, set up and adjust paint guns, and paint samples
• Perform required maintenance on paint equipment
• Assist in cleaning of paint booths
• Handle paint, paint related materials and hazardous wastes properly

Requirements for Wet Painter:

• Working knowledge of wet paint booth and knowledge of processes
• Ability to changeover color modules for paint booths
• Possess troubleshooting skills
• At least one year of previous painting experience
• Previous automotive experience is a plus
