Job summary

EcoMod is seeking a skilled Welder to join our production team at our Hudson, Colorado facility. You will fabricate and assemble structural components by welding steel studs to steel shipping containers and perform precise plasma cutting, maintaining strict safety standards.

The role is hands-on and requires 2+ years of welding experience in manufacturing or construction, along with the ability to read blueprints and interpret weld symbols.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years welding experience in a manufacturing, structural steel, or construction environment.
• Proficiency in welding steel-to-steel and operating plasma cutting torches.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret weld symbols.
• Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods.
• AWS welding certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Weld and fabricate steel studs to containers per specs.
• Operate plasma cutting equipment for precise cuts.
• Prepare materials by cleaning and grinding to ensure weld quality.
• Read blueprints and verify layouts and weld symbols.
• Ensure safety and quality by following shop protocols.
