Overview

We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welding and fitting tasks to fabricate and assemble metal structures according to specifications. If you have a strong background in welding, fitting, and a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding and fitting tasks using various techniques and tools
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings
• Fabricate and assemble metal components accurately
• Use hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments
• Operate welding equipment such as soldering irons, rigging equipment
• Inspect welded structures to ensure they meet quality standards
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently
• Operate crane and other heavy machinery as needed

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Welder/Fitter or similar role
• Proficient in welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and stick welding
• Familiarity with various hand tools and measuring instruments
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
• Strong attention to detail and precision in work
• Knowledge of safety procedures when operating welding equipment
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Certification in welding is a plus, we are willing to train you
