Job summary

Staffmark Group in Deerwood, MN is hiring a Welder for 1st shift (6am-4:30pm Mon-Thur). The pay range is $18.00 to $23.00 per hour, with opportunities to fabricate, join, and repair metal components in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities include welding and assembling parts per blueprints, inspecting welds for quality, and maintaining a safe, organized work area. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, and welding certification is beneficial.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Vocational training or welding certification is beneficial.
• Experience reading blueprints, welding symbols, and fabrication drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Weld and assemble metal components according to blueprints and work instructions.
• Weld in flat, vertical, and overhead positions.
• Set up and operate welding equipment including SMAW and GMAW.
• Inspect finished welds for quality and dimensional accuracy.
• Use measuring instruments to verify work meets specifications.
• Adjust equipment controls to maintain precision and detect issues.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
• Demonstrate dependable attendance and teamwork.
