Job summary

Dubak Electrical Group is seeking an experienced Welder to join our La Grange Park, IL team. The role involves MIG, TIG and aluminum welding on pipes, machine parts, metal structures, fixtures, and fittings under supervision. Some field work in addition to shop duties is expected.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of journeyman welding experience, shop experience, and proficiency with common shop equipment. High school diploma or equivalent and technical training are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience as a welder at journeyman level.
• 2+ years' experience in a shop or production facility.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical schooling or apprenticeship preferred.
• Proficiency with standard machine shop equipment and hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare objects for welding by cleaning, filing, positioning, aligning, and clamping parts.
• Evaluate, repair and/or fabricate as required.
• Read blueprints, diagrams, sketches, and job specifications.
• Use all safety procedures and PPE as required.
• Travel to national projects may be required.
