Job summary

IFH Group, Inc. is looking for an entry-level Aluminum Welder to join our Rock Falls, IL fabrication team. This full-time on-site role requires careful MIG and TIG welds, blueprint reading, and a strong safety mindset. Benefits begin on the first day of employment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and may have an associate degree or welding certificate. Prior welding experience is preferred but not mandatory for highly motivated entrants.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or welding certificate preferred; relevant college coursework acceptable with experience.
• 2 years’ experience in machine/metal fabrication or MIG/TIG welding highly preferred; or equivalent combination of coursework and experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and TIG welds according to bead size and specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams and schematics.
• Maintain safety and quality standards on the shop floor.
• Operate welding equipment on-site in Rock Falls, IL.
