Responsibilities

• Weld metal components together to fabricate or repair products from blueprints or layouts using brazing, arc, and gas welding equipment.
• Lay out guidelines or marks on metal parts and cut with a torch.
• Weld structural components for steel electrical poles, substations, and other structures.
• Adjust welding equipment to prescribed settings and operate overhead cranes as needed.
• Maintain safety practices and follow Valmont safety policies.
