Job summary

FuelCell Energy is seeking a hands-on Welder/Mechanical Assembler in Torrington, CT to join our manufacturing team. The role focuses on interpreting designs, welding in 1G–6G positions, and assembling components with Mig and Tig processes on carbon and stainless steel.

Ideal candidates will have a HS diploma (Technical education preferred or 2 years experience) and demonstrate strong attention to detail, tool proficiency, and safe work practices in a fast-paced environment with strict quality

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical education or 2 years welding experience preferred.
• Experience with MIG and TIG on carbon steel and stainless steel.

Responsibilities

• Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
• Interpret designs and blueprints to meet specs.
• Operate hand and power tools and welding equipment.
