Job summary

HOLT Manufacturing is seeking an experienced MFG Welder 2 for our Waco/TX area. The role focuses on moderate welding and fabrication, reading drawings and welding symbols, and producing high-quality weldments in a team setting.

You will perform setup, tack, stitch, and full welding on subassemblies while following standard work and SOPs. Applicants should have 2+ years of welding experience with GMAW, FCAW, and SMAW in 1-3 G/F positions, and be capable of using oxy/acetylene and plasma cutting

Qualifications

• Requires welding skills with GMAW, FCAW, SMAW and ability to read drawings/blueprints.
• Demonstrated knowledge of weld equipment, tools, and measurement devices.
• Ability to work independently or in a team to meet production goals.

Responsibilities

• Set up, tack, stitch, and weld subassemblies per drawings and welding symbols.
• Interpret blueprints and welding drawings to complete fabrication tasks.
• Maintain welding quality and compliance with codes and SOPs.
• Utilize overhead cranes and material handling equipment.
• Adhere to safety policies and 5S housekeeping.
