Job summary

Chart Industries is hiring at Fronti Fabrications in Palmerton, PA for welders. The position requires training and passing a minimum 6G GTAW level, welding to x-ray quality, and compliance with ASME FCAW standards.

You will work from drawings, inspect welds, and operate MIG/TIG equipment and plasma cutters in a factory setting. Qualified candidates will have a welding certificate or 12 months of experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to read specifications.

Qualifications

• Must have welding certificate/degree or 12 months welding experience.
• Must train and pass a minimum of 6G level GTAW.
• Able to weld to x-ray quality and pass inspections when required.
• FCAW to ASME standards.
• Able to read drawings and follow specifications.
• Must identify material and markings to ensure proper parts and codes.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding per drawings and specifications.
• Set up and operate welding machines and related tools.
• Maintain shop cleanliness and safety; perform minor maintenance on welding equipment.
• Unload/load fabricated equipment and materials as needed.
• Keep accurate welding records and inspect weld quality.
