Job summary

The role requires physical stamina and the ability to work at heights and in confined spaces. AWS or ASME certification is preferred, with experience in construction and structural steel fabrication.

Qualifications

• Certifications: AWS or ASME equivalents required.
• Experience in construction, manufacturing, or structural steel fabrication preferred.
• Proficiency with MIG, TIG, and Stick welding processes desired.

Responsibilities

• Fabrication and Welding: Weld steel parts in various positions to build structural frameworks.
• Blueprint Reading: Interpret technical drawings and structural specifications.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and PPE requirements.
• Quality Control: Inspect welds for defects using precision tools.
• Equipment Maintenance: Maintain welding tools and equipment.
• Cutting and Preparation: Cut, burn, and grind metal components.
• On-Site Assembly: Assemble and secure metal components for structures.
