Job summary

NSC is seeking a Skilled Trades Recruiter to source, attract, and hire qualified skilled trades professionals. You will manage the full-cycle process from sourcing through onboarding, building relationships with candidates, hiring managers, trade schools, and industry partners.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of recruiting experience, preferably in skilled trades, construction, manufacturing, or blue-collar settings, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year in recruiting, staffing, sales, customer service, or call center.
• Experience recruiting skilled trades, construction, manufacturing, industrial, or blue-collar roles required.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment for skilled trades positions (electricians, plumbers, HVAC techs, welders, mechanics, etc.).
• Source candidates via job boards, social media, referrals, networking, trade schools, career fairs, and events.
• Conduct phone screens and interviews to assess skills, certs, work history, and culture fit.
• Build a pipeline of qualified trades candidates for current and future needs.
• Coordinate interviews, references, background checks, and onboarding steps.
• Provide candidates with timely updates and a positive experience.
• Create and post compelling job ads to attract talent.
• Attend job fairs and trade school events to promote opportunities.
• Maintain ATS records and comply with employment laws.
