Qualifications

• Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols.
• Basic math skills to meet specs.

Responsibilities

• Plan details of work orders and gather required tools and materials.
• Lay out, position, align, and secure parts prior to welding.
• Weld structural steel (C-channels) in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
• Clamp, hold, or tack weld parts to obtain configurations.
• Read drawings and interpret weld symbols and specifications.
• Maintain, organize, and clean equipment and work area; notify supervisor of issues.
• Complete all other duties as assigned.
