Zodiac of North America is seeking an experienced sewer to join our inflatable boat production team in Maryland. The successful candidate will sew and assemble boat components, read patterns, and ensure product quality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational sewing training is a plus.
• Proven experience as a sewer, preferably in marine or outdoor products.
• Proficiency with industrial sewing machines and diverse fabrics.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial sewing machines to sew and assemble inflatable boat components.
• Read and interpret patterns, specifications, and technical drawings.
• Ensure material and finished product quality meets company standards.
• Collaborate with production to maintain workflow and meet deadlines.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance on sewing machines and report issues.
