Job summary

Skeeter Products Inc is seeking a sewing operator to join our team in Kilgore, Texas. Responsible for sewing cut vinyl/leather into seat covers and supporting the upholstery production line.

You will work with vinyl/leather, backing, welting and other upholstery materials, maintain a clean workstation, and follow quality standards. Previous sewing experience is preferred and readiness to learn is valued.

Qualifications

• Previous sewing experience preferred.
• Familiarity and comfort level around sewing machines.
• Ability to sit or stand 10+ hours a day.
• Good coordination and detail orientation.
• Follow instructions accurately and maintain quality.

Responsibilities

• Collect appropriate pieces of vinyl/leather as needed for work order.
• Sewing process includes sewing vinyl/leather, backing, welting, puffs and other upholstery materials per specifications.
• Clean, oil and maintain machine as needed.
• Maintain a clean workstation.
• Meet quality standards of current production within grade level.

JOB SUMMARY:

JOB DUTIES:

• Collect appropriate pieces of vinyl/leather as needed for work order
• Sewing process will include sewing vinyl/leather, backing, welting, puffs and other upholstery materials per specifications
• Cleaning, oiling and maintaining machine as needed
• Maintain a clean workstation
• Must be able to sew and meet quality standards of current production effectively within grade level
• Any other duties assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous sewing experience preferred
• Familiarity and comfort level around sewing machines
• Ability to sit or stand 10+ hours a day
