Ames Construction is seeking a Scraper Operator for projects in and around Arizona. The role requires safe, efficient operation of heavy track equipment, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work extended hours including nights and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Operate the Track Equipment in all phases of operations, during normal conditions, night conditions, adverse weather, and emergencies.
• Perform routine maintenance and watch gauges, dials, or other indicators to ensure they are working properly.
• Exercise good judgment about the safety and health of you and others.
• Complete and understand the paperwork necessary for this job.
• Be organized and able to execute verbal and written instructions.
• Be able to work with others and also to work independently on assigned tasks.
• Accurately complete a daily timecard and other paperwork as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate the track equipment safely and efficiently on project sites in Arizona.
• Perform routine maintenance and monitor gauges to ensure equipment operates correctly.
• Follow safety procedures and report unsafe conditions to supervision.
• Complete required timecards and paperwork accurately and on time.
