Ames Construction, Inc. is seeking an experienced operator for heavy civil projects, including power construction equipment handling and safe operation on job sites.
The role requires reading safety guidelines, performing routine maintenance, and maintaining clear timecards and paperwork. The candidate will join a team committed to safety, reliability, and on-time project delivery, with long hours and potential night shifts.

An Operator operates several types of power construction equipment, such as compressors, pumps, hoists, derricks, cranes, shovels, tractors, dozers, scrapers, motor graders, and off-road rock trucks, to excavate, move, and grade earth. An operator will turn valves to control the air and water output of compressors and pumps. Adjusts hand wheels and depresses pedals to drive the machine and control attachments, such as blades, buckets, scrapers, and swing booms. Repairs and maintains equipment. Ames is looking for Scraper Operators who are safe, efficient, highly skilled, and productive operators for our projects in and around Arizona CAT SCRAPER 613 UP TO BUT NOT EXCLUDING 637/GPS TRIMBLE knowledge is a plus Operator Apprentices are encouraged to apply as well.
