Two years of journey-level painting experience.

Responsibilities

Use brush, roller, or spray gun to apply paint and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
Prepare surfaces by scraping, sanding, waterblast, patching, and masking as needed.
Apply under and finish coats of paint.
Refinish furniture and other equipment.
Erect rigging; move ladders, scaffolding, and platforms.
Layout and mark parking lots and play areas.
Graffiti removal: perform repetitive cleaning tasks.
Mix paints and match colors.
Clean and maintain brushes and tools.
Maintain routine records as assigned.
Work with district employees, architecture/engineering teams, and outside contractors.
Perform related duties as assigned.
