Job summary

BrandSafway is seeking a dependable Scaffold Carpenter to assist in the safe erection, modification, inspection, and dismantling of scaffold systems for industrial construction and maintenance projects. You will work with the Scaffold Leadman and crew to ensure safety and quality on every job.

The ideal candidate has scaffold-building experience, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety. Competitive benefits accompany this full-time, on-site role at various industrial sites.

Qualifications

• Experience as Scaffold Carpenter or related role preferred.
• Ability to read scaffold drawings and blueprints.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights.
• Willingness to travel to job sites as needed.
• Background check and safety orientation as project requires.

Responsibilities

• Assist Scaffold Leadman in erection, modification, and dismantling of scaffolds.
• Assemble scaffold components including frames, tubes, clamps, braces, platforms, guardrails, access systems.
• Read and follow scaffold drawings and work instructions.
• Inspect scaffold materials and report damaged equipment.
• Load/unload and transport scaffold materials to job sites.
• Ensure scaffolds erected safely per OSHA and company policies.
