Job summary

BrandSafway is seeking a dependable Scaffold Helper to support Scaffold Carpenters and Leads in erecting, modifying, and dismantling scaffold systems on industrial projects. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and reliable performance on site.

Ideal candidates learn scaffold building techniques, operate basic hand tools, and work well in varying weather conditions while maintaining site safety and organization.

Qualifications

• Previous construction or industrial experience preferred but not required.
• Willingness to learn scaffold building techniques and safety procedures.
• Ability to safely use basic hand tools.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist Scaffold Carpenters and the Scaffold Leadman with the erection, modification, and dismantling of scaffold systems.
• Load, unload, transport, and organize scaffold materials, tools, and equipment.
• Hand materials and tools to scaffold builders during assembly and dismantling.
• Clean and prepare work areas to support scaffold construction activities.
• Inspect scaffold components for visible damage and report any defective materials.
• Maintain scaffold inventory and organize materials for efficient use.
• Follow directions from the Scaffold Leadman and Scaffold Carpenters to complete assigned tasks safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site.
• Follow OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and customer requirements, including the proper use of PPE.
• Participate in daily safety meetings and report unsafe conditions or hazards immediately.
