Job summary

Staker Parson Companies, a CRH company, is seeking a Heavy Road Construction Equipment Operator in Draper, UT. This role supports heavy civil and highway construction projects, operating a range of heavy equipment and ensuring safety, quality workmanship, and teamwork.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of equipment operating experience, plus the ability to read plans and work with GPS where needed. CDL not required but a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1–2 years of heavy equipment operating experience.
• Experience with road construction, earthmoving, and grading preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy construction equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform grading, excavation, and site preparation tasks.
• Read grade stakes, plans, blueprints and GPS guidance.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report issues.
• Maintain equipment and work areas in good condition.
• Support safety meetings and follow OSHA/DOT regulations.
