Job summary

UT Health San Antonio is seeking a registered nurse to provide direct patient care in a on-site clinical setting. You will assist physicians during treatment, prepare equipment, and ensure efficient clinic flow throughout 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday.

The role requires an Associate’s degree and three years of professional nursing experience. You will triage calls, educate patients, coordinate referrals, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree is required.
• Three (3) years of professional nursing experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates advanced skills in physical examinations and medical testing; administers medications and injections as needed.
• Ensures clinic flow and coordinates referrals, follow-ups, and diagnostic tests.
• Triages patient calls and collaborates with call center team members.
• Follows up on diagnostic tests and reports results to the medical provider.
• Refers patients to specialists and schedules follow-ups and procedure appointments.
• Educates patients and family members.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
