Job summary

White Cap is seeking a hands-on Rebar Fabricator to produce customized reinforcing steel per work orders and tags. You will set up and operate fabrication equipment, inspect outputs for conformance, and prepare finished products for shipment in an industrial environment.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, working in varied conditions, and following all safety policies. Prior experience in rebar fabrication or related production is preferred.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• 0-2 years of experience in rebar fabrication or related production.
• Ability to read basic work orders and rebar tags.
• Experience operating fabrication machinery and safety training.

Responsibilities

• Fabricates reinforcing steel (rebar) products per work orders and tag specifications.
• Sets up and safely operates rebar fabrication equipment such as shears and benders.
• Inspects finished materials for accuracy against specs.
• Prepares products for shipment using protective materials.
• Maintains a clean, safe work area and follows safety policies.
• Works indoors and outdoors, adapting to weather as needed.
