Job summary

White Cap is seeking a hands-on Rebar Fabricator to produce customized reinforcing steel products in a fast-paced industrial setting. You will operate rebar fabrication equipment, verify dimensions from work orders, and prep finished products for shipment.

The job requires lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for long periods, and adapting to indoor/outdoor conditions. Preferred HS Diploma/GED, 2–5 years in fabrication, and forklift/overhead crane certification where applicable.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience in rebar fabrication or related production environment.
• Forklift and/or overhead crane certification where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate reinforcing steel (rebar) products based on work orders and tag specifications.
• Operate and adjust rebar fabrication equipment (shears, benders, automated machines).
• Organize and stage materials to support production flow.
• Inspect finished materials for accuracy and spec compliance.
• Identify defects and adjust processes to maintain quality.
• Prepare completed products for shipment with proper bracing and padding.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety policies.
• Work in indoor and outdoor environments and adapt to weather.
