Job summary

White Cap is seeking a hands-on production worker to fabricate reinforced steel (rebar) per orders and tags. You will set up and use bending and cutting equipment, organize materials, inspect outputs, and prepare items for shipment in a dynamic environment.

The role requires safety-conscious daily work, ability to work outdoors/indoor, and readiness to follow established processes with supervision as needed.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED preferred; 0–2 years in production is a plus.
• Experience in rebar fabrication or manufacturing.
• Ability to read basic work orders and rebar tags.
• Forklift and/or overhead crane certification as applicable.
• Use of PPE is required.

Responsibilities

• Fabricates reinforcing steel (rebar) per work orders and tag specs.
• Sets up and operates rebar fabrication equipment safely.
• Stacks, bands, and stages materials per production flow.
• Inspects finished materials for accuracy against specs.
• Prepares products for shipment with protective packaging.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Adheres to safety policies and reports hazards.
• Works indoors and outdoors with variable conditions.
