Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as a skilled pipe layer on heavy civil projects required.
• Experience around heavy construction equipment preferred.
• Ability to lift/push/pull >50 lbs and work in outside elements; noise, dust and heat present.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Lay storm drainage, sanitary sewer laterals, water services and conduit.
• Ensure subgrade and pipe are on grade and online.
• Assist in backfilling and running compaction equipment.
• Follow safety regulations including OSHA and local jurisdictions.
• Recognize job site hazards.
• Cooperate with others in a team environment.
• Accept direction from supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned.
