Job summary

Cedar Fair Entertainment Company in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Level II Maintenance Technician to support park, restaurant and office buildings. This full-time role involves carpentry, cabinets, concrete and asphalt work, with shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Operate heavy equipment and power tools, study blueprints, and plan repair schedules. Ensure safety, quality, and documentation across maintenance programs at our parks.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to climb and work at heights up to 300 feet.
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment including steel-toed shoes and fall protection.
• Ability to pass a drug test per Company policy.
• Ability to pass a background check per Company policy.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Plan repair schedules for park equipment and vehicles; inspect, service, test, troubleshoot, and repair.
• Operate heavy equipment such as backhoes, tractors, forklifts, JLG lifts, and various saws.
• Document work performed daily and maintain maintenance records.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and properly care for tools and equipment.
• Work with materials like wood, plastic, fiberglass, or drywall; join with nails, screws, or adhesives.
• Work at heights on scaffolding and ladders; ensure compliance with codes and specs.
• Use levels and surveying tools to ensure structures are square and secure.
• Install cabinets, molding, and prefabricated structures; remodel offices and buildings.
• Replace glass panes, doors, and perform furniture repairs.
• Install partitions and move machinery; follow blueprints and material lists.
