Job summary

Six Flags Entertainment Corporation in Charlotte, NC seeks a skilled maintenance technician. You will perform cabinet, carpentry, concrete and asphalt work to maintain park, restaurant and office buildings and equipment.

Read blueprints and use power tools to fabricate according to plans, while ensuring safety and quality across projects. The role requires 2–4 years of construction experience, ability to work at heights, and flexibility for nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of lumber and fixture materials is required.
• Ability to read blueprints and building plans for materials and dimensions.
• Experience with cabinet, carpentry, concrete and asphalt work preferred.
• Must be able to pass background checks and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Performs skilled trade duties in cabinet, carpentry, concrete, and asphalt work for maintenance, repair, and construction.
• Operates fixed and portable power tools and heavy equipment used in the trade.
• Studies blueprints and plans to determine materials and dimensions for fabrication.
• Maintains safety, documents work and participates in park equipment maintenance.
