Job summary

Enchanted Parks is seeking a skilled carpenter to construct and maintain woodwork on park buildings and rides. The role requires performing carpentry from framing to finish, reading blueprints, and precise measurements while ensuring safety in a high-activity amusement environment.

Responsibilities include inspecting ride areas for safe operation, performing repairs, and coordinating with the maintenance team.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• 1-2 Years Related Experience in professional carpentry from framing to finish.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license.
• Must have working knowledge of applicable building codes.
• Able to read blueprints/drawings to interpret content.
• Able to lift and carry 100 pounds in repair or installation.
• Must be able to climb and work at heights up to 205 feet.
• Ability to use fall protection equipment and wear PPE.

Responsibilities

• Inspect wooden rides/areas to ensure safe operation and perform necessary repairs.
• Perform carpentry work from blueprints using hand and power tools and measure materials.
• Carry out general labor such as building fences and rough framing.
• Erect tents and other canvases; perform roofing and plumbing tasks as needed.
• Respond to supervisor requests and provide guest service according to park standards.
