Job summary

CompoSecure is seeking a hands-on manufacturing professional to operate CNC machines, lamination systems, engraving equipment, and card finishing tools to produce high-quality components. The role requires flexibility to switch between functions and to adapt to production priorities with a team-focused mindset.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in manufacturing, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to read drawings or CAD files.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, or relevant experience.
• 3+ years in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
• Expertise in at least one of the following: CNC, tacking, lamination, engraving, or card finishing.
• Ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, or CAD files.
• Strong communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
• Adaptable to changing priorities and support team flexibility.
• Lean manufacturing familiarity and ISO/QMS understanding is a plus.
• Basic computer literacy for equipment interfaces and reporting.
• Familiarity with measurement tools such as depth gauges, micrometers, and calipers.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain CNC machines, lamination systems, engraving systems, and/or card finishing equipment to produce components.
• Perform tacking operations with precision according to production requirements.
• Inspect and verify output quality at each stage against standards and specifications.
• Maintain accurate documentation of production data, process parameters, and quality checks.
• Flex between functions and workstations based on production demand or team capacity.
• Adapt quickly to changes in workflow, priorities, and scheduling to support production goals.
• Collaborate with supervisors and planners to address bottlenecks or resource gaps.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe, organized workspace.
• Conduct basic troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Report malfunctions or hazards promptly to minimize downtime and risk.
• Independently select program files and adjust offsets according to material thickness.

Skills & Qualifications:

Pay Range

Offers will be negotiated based on each candidate’s qualifications.

Incentive Compensation

This role may be eligible to participate in our annual or quarterly incentive plan. Incentives are earned based on employee performance against defined metrics and company goals.
