Job summary

CompoSecure, L.L.C. in New Jersey seeks a hands-on production specialist to operate CNC machines, lamination, engraving, and card finishing equipment to produce high-quality components.

You will adapt to different functions to support production goals, document data, and comply with safety rules. A minimum of 3 years in manufacturing and the ability to read drawings or CAD files are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or relevant experience required.
• 3+ years of experience in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in at least one of CNC, tacking, lamination, engraving or card finishing.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, or CAD files.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
• Adaptable to changing priorities and support team flexibility.
• Preferred: Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.
• Preferred: Understanding of ISO or other quality management systems.
• Basic computer literacy for equipment interfaces, reporting, and tracking.
• Basic knowledge of using measurement tools such as depth gauges, micrometers, and caliper

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain CNC machines, lamination systems, engraving systems, and/or card finishing equipment to produce high-quality components.
• Perform tacking operations with precision and in accordance with production requirements.
• Inspect and verify output quality at each stage, ensuring adherence to standards and specifications.
• Maintain accurate documentation of production data, process parameters, and quality checks through ERP input tools or manual documentation.
• Flex between functions and workstations based on production demand or team capacity.
• Rapidly adapt to changes in workflow, priorities, and scheduling to support production goals.
• Collaborate with supervisors and planners to address bottlenecks or resource gaps in Lead Daily Management.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures, maintaining a safe and organized workspace.
• Conduct basic troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Report malfunctions or hazards promptly to minimize downtime and risk.
• Independently select program files and adjust offsets according to material thickness

Position Overview

This is a hands-on individual contributor production role requiring expertise in multiple manufacturing disciplines, including CNC machining, manual tacking, lamination, engraving, and card finishing. The ideal candidate is a reliable team player who can adapt to different functions as needed to support production goal.

Pay Range

$19.38 - $31.01 Hourly

Incentive Compensation

Offers will be negotiated based on each candidate's qualifications.

This role may be eligible to participate in our annual or quarterly incentive plan. Incentives are earned based on employee performance against defined metrics and company goals.
