Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure or in process in Colorado.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred.
• Ability to work independently, follow instructions, and maintain confidentiality.
• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and privacy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient evaluations and develop treatment plans aligned with physician orders.
• Execute treatment plans and adjust progression as appropriate.
• Conduct tests and complex treatments independently or with help as needed.
• Collaborate with OT, PT, physicians and other staff on patient programs.
• Document evaluations, progress notes and discharge summaries timely.
• Provide full range of speech therapy modalities per education and clinical needs.
