Job summary

The Masonic Home: Union City is seeking a Registered Nurse to plan, organize, implement, direct and evaluate direct nursing care for residents and patients within the scope of practice. The RN coordinates care delivery to meet needs per physician orders and applicable laws, including medication administration and documentation.

Responsibilities also include MDS and initial assessments, and the ability to supervise and delegate nursing staff to ensure high-quality care within a long-term care

Qualifications

• Six months of clinical experience in acute care or SNF as a RN.
• Current California RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Clear reading, writing and spoken English; effective communication.
• Knowledge of State and Federal long-term care regulations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, implement, direct and evaluate direct nursing care for residents and patients.
• Coordinate care delivery to meet patient needs per physician orders and laws.
• Prepare, deliver and document medications and treatments; perform MDS and initial assessments.

Pay Range: $44.50 - $54.50/hourJOB SUMMARYThe Registered Nurse is responsible for planning, organizing, implementing, directing and evaluating direct nursing care provided to residents and patients within scope of practice. The RN coordinates care delivery to ensure that Residents and Patients needs are met in accordance with physician orders, and State and Federal laws and regulations governing long term care.
