Job summary

The Registered Nurse position at Masonic Homes of California is responsible for planning, organizing, implementing, directing and evaluating nursing care for residents and patients within long-term care.

The RN coordinates care delivery with physicians, adheres to state and federal regulations, and handles medication/treatment delivery, MDS and initial assessments, while supervising and delegating to nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum six (6) months clinical experience in acute care or SNF as a RN.
• Currently licensed as RN in California.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, implement, direct and evaluate direct nursing care for residents and patients.
• Coordinate care delivery to meet needs per physician orders and laws/regulations.
• Prepare, deliver and document medications/treatments for residents and patients.
• Perform MDS and initial assessments and supervise nursing staff.
• Delegate nursing tasks in accordance with scope of practice.

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse is responsible for planning, organizing, implementing, directing and evaluating direct nursing care provided to residents and patients within scope of practice. The RN coordinates care delivery to ensure that Residents and Patients needs are met in accordance with physician orders, and State and Federal laws and regulations governing long term care. As an RN, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the preparation, delivery and documentation of medication/treatment(s) to our Residents and Patients, MDS and initial assessments, ability to supervise and delegate nursing staff.

Pay Range: $44.50 - $54.50/hour

Requirements

• Minimum six (6) months clinical experience in acute care or SNF experience as a Registered Nurse
• Currently licensed as RN to practice in the State of California
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

• Ability to perform nursing care per current community standard for long term care.
• Interact effectively with residents, visitors, administration, physicians, volunteers and staff;
• Knowledge of State and Federal laws and regulations governing Long Term Care
