Job summary

Spokane Valley Health and Rehab of Cascadia in Spokane Valley, WA is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide routine daily nursing care to long-term residents per care plans.

You will work closely with the therapy department to help residents reach mobility goals, observe changes, assist with activities of daily living, and document vital signs and care provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid CNA license in WA or state of employment.
• Physical stamina to perform tasks that involve standing, walking, lifting, and bending for extended periods.
• Current BLS certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report any changes in patients' conditions to the nursing staff.
• Assist resident with dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair, incontinence care etc.
• Provide support to residents with behavioral health needs.
• Take and record temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration rate, fluid intake and output as directed.
• Assist residents with range of motion exercises, eating, and mobility/transfers.
