Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years' experience as a cook in a restaurant or institution.

Responsibilities

• Clean food preparation areas, kitchen, dishes, and equipment.
• Clean other areas of facility as directed.
• Cook foods as directed and consistent with applicable laws, rules, and regulations as well as the facility's policies and procedures.
• Coordinate activities with food service staff.
• Cut cooked or raw foods as directed.
• Prepare foods for cooking and serving.
• Serve food as directed.
• Stock ingredients and monitor inventory as directed.
• Ensure that food is provided to residents consistent with orders or diet instructions.
• Communicate and interact effectively with residents, visitors, families, staff, and supervisors.
